Rocket Rumble Play-to-Earn (P2E) Ecosystem Guide

Rocket Rumble’s P2E system introduces a dynamic earning model based on gameplay, NFT crafting, and ecosystem participation. Here’s a breakdown of how it all works:

1. Earning Key Fragments in Game

  • Key Fragment Drops:

    • Gold fragments: ~10% drop rate from matches won (subject to change).

    • Eligibility: Players must use characters or weapons with energy.

    • Energy System:

      • Each character or weapon starts with 10 energy points, replenished daily.

      • Playing matches depletes energy; once exhausted, you’ll earn silver fragments instead of gold.

    • Energy Requirements by Tier:

      • Gold: Genesis Fighters, Genesis Weapons, and Gen 2 Fighters.

      • Silver: Partnered characters/weapons and free-to-play (F2P) characters.

At the end of a match, you’ll see a summary showing your trophies gained/lost, trophies earned, and key fragments (if dropped).

2. Redeeming In-Game Key Fragments

Convert earned key fragments into on-chain NFTs by following these steps:

  1. Click “Connect Wallet” and select your wallet extension.

  2. Follow on-screen instructions to connect your wallet.

  3. View your claimable fragments in your wallet.

  4. Click “Mint” to convert fragments into NFTs. (Both Gold and Silver fragments are minted.)

  5. Confirm the transaction via your wallet.

3. Crafting P2E Keys

Once you’ve redeemed at least 3 fragments, you can craft full keys:

  1. Click “Key Craft” in the navigation bar.

  2. Choose one of two crafting options:

    • Try Craft: Use 3 fragments for a ~30% chance of crafting a full key.

    • Craft Key: Use 10 fragments for a 100% chance of success.

  3. Confirm the transaction.

Important: Fragments must be of the same type (Gold or Silver) to craft keys.

4. Opening Lootboxes

Use full keys to open lootboxes and unlock NFT rewards:

  1. Click “Connect” and select your wallet extension.

  2. Select “Use Key” for the desired key type (Gold or Silver).

  3. Confirm the transaction and wait for ChainLink to generate random loot.

  4. Success! Unlock weapons and other NFTs from your lootbox.

    • Genesis Fighters generate 5–15 $RUMBLECOIN daily, essential for crafting, forging, and energy replenishment.

  2. ETH Prizes from Tournaments:

    • Up to 2 ETH in bi-weekly tournaments.

  3. Forging Weapons:

    • Combine weaker weapons (plus $RUMBLECOIN) to create stronger, more valuable weapons for resale.

  4. Training Gen 2 Fighters:

    • Burn weapons + $RUMBLECOIN to train Gen 2 Fighters, who can still earn rewards like Gold keys and participate in tournaments.

  5. Renting Fighters:

    • As demand grows, players can rent Fighters for $RUMBLECOIN generation or team tournaments through third-party platforms.

Balancing the Ecosystem

  • Energy Limits: Characters/weapons have daily energy caps to balance gameplay.

  • Key Distribution Caps: Limited Gold and Silver keys are available daily to prevent oversupply and maintain value.
